Adding to your family?

  • Color can make a big difference in defining the mood of your childs room.  It's up to you to decide if you want a calming atmosphere with neutral tones, which can be great for sleeping, or brighter more primary colors for a playful feeling.
  • You know kids, one week it's Princesses and the next it's Spongebob.  So, unless you want to change your childs room weekly, keep the major pieces, such as furniture and bedding, basic.  Add the fun (and forever changing) stuff with pillows, pictures and other accessories.
  • Provide plenty of easily accessible storage for your child, such as bins and baskets, so that he or she can keep toys, clothes and other belongings neat and tidy.
